After bachelor and master degrees in industrial engineering I never thought I’d end up teaching, much less loving it. I taught at a public school in Miami for 6 years until wanderlust brought me to Seattle. I’ve since been teaching math at a local college while trying to figure out what to do when I grow up…IF I grow up. I could say I moved out of a love for adventure or perhaps I like making life more difficult for myself; *shrugs* who knows?
I am a little makeup-obsessed, love to cook, have recently ventured into vegetarianism, selfie-impaired (no, really, I could use lessons) and am practicing focusing on the brighter side of life. I may not always get it right, but I’d like to enjoy my time while I’m trying.
